Through our own training company, NAPA AutoTech, we offer expert training tailored to your needs. Our training includes dozens of pre-planned modules available onsite, offsite, and online, many of which are free of charge. Additionally, we can develop customized training plans to fit your schedule.

NAPA AutoTech’s eLearning library offers over 400 online courses, covering topics such as automotive, safety, hybrid/EV, shop management, and product training. These resources are available to technicians in all NAPA IBS locations, helping them stay up-to-date with the latest industry knowledge and skills. Online Technical Skills Assessment

How It Works to Take an Assessment with NAPA IBS
  • Once the manager/training administrator adds all technicians at the beginning of the program, NAPA IBS also has an optional online course available offering NAPA AutoTech technician skills assessment.
  • NAPA AutoTech Technical Assessments (9 total) will be available prior to subscription access to assist with evaluating skill levels and building course training outlines based on specific technician needs.
  • Each assessment only takes about 15 minutes to complete. These measure skills/knowledge in: air conditioning, diesel. alignment. steering and suspension, electrical, hybrids, batteries, starting and charging, new technician essentials, brakes/ABS and service sales.

Technicians will learn on various Hybrid & EV vehicles such as Tesla, Toyota, GM, Ford, Hyundai, and Nissan. This will allow the technician to make educated decisions on equipment needed in their own shop to perform repairs.
